Prenatal Massage Therapy

Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, constipation, indigestion, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).

We utilize a comfortable, secure side-lying position. Mothers are completely supported by pillows, aligning the body so that blood and lymph circulation are maximized. Gentle Swedish, deep tissue in the gluteal area, range of motion and gentle stretching, abdominal massage, acupressure, reflexology techniques, as well as craniosacral therapy are integrated into the treatment.

What My Clients Say:

Susan Van Note is truly the best! I started working with her while I was pregnant and I credit her with being the person who helped me survive those nine months :) She takes time to learn what works best for your body and she is thoughtful in mapping out a plan for each session. She is kind, professional and extremely good at what she does.
