Every day you wake up in pain.

How has this become your living reality?

At first it was a brief ache, but now it’s become constant.

You feel like something underlying is wrong, and you don’t know what it is or how to fix it.

Medicine doesn’t get to the root.

Doctors offer medication and surgery. Physical therapists and massage therapists stretch and apply deep pressure.

It seems like no one really knows what’s going on, and any relief you feel only lasts a day or so.

You’ve tried it all – opioids, cortisone injections, epidural injections, exercises, stretching, deep pressure, even surgery – but the pain comes and goes, eventually finding its way back.

Relief is only temporary at best.

And you can feel your confidence in your body is waning.

You find yourself thinking twice before doing things you love to do, or before doing simple things like getting in and out of the car, bending down to pick up a book, walking on an uneven sidewalk. Your world seems to be getting smaller and smaller.

It feels like you’ve exhausted every single viable option.

Medications don’t always help.

While medication, physical therapy and massage may help you manage the pain sometimes, it doesn’t address the root of the issue.

In fact, often chronic pain is a symptom of something deeper.

Sometimes pain is a symptom of a past surgery or injury and there seems to be no logical reason for it

It may surprise you to learn that whatever the cause of your pain is, the way to deal with it is not at the location of the pain, but at the control center of your entire body: your brain and nervous system level.

With trauma-informed somatic work, I can support you in understanding your body and nervous system as well as share somatic tools so that you can find the source of the unconscious chronic muscle tension and pain patterns and the unresolved issues that are at the root of the pain.

We do a combination of work on the treatment table as well as somatic face-to-face work.

You’ll learn to support your body and mind as you release and heal those physical areas at the root.

Pain is a symptom of your body asking for help. We address the pain at the source — your brain and nervous system.

You don’t have to suffer alone.

Help is available.

You’ll begin to feel your physical sensations, trust the wisdom of your body, track your nervous system, and practice somatic tools to self-regulate and soothe yourself.

You’ll feel your inner balance restored and find your resilience and empowerment again.

You will finally feel ready to unpack and identify the core of the pain so that you can learn to soothe and decrease the sensations of pain without fear.

You don’t have to keep suffering alone.
