What To Expect When We Work Together
As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and bodywork therapist, I use a robust set of tools from all my practices and therapies to provide you with a uniquely individualized holistic treatment plan that helps you to connect with your embodied self.
When working with trauma or physical symptoms of anxiety, we will work within the framework of Somatic Experiencing and integrate bodywork techniques as appropriate for your unique situation.
If you are coming in for injury or pain unrelated to trauma, then we will work to resolve those issues with a variety of bodywork techniques appropriate for you.
These interwoven services create a comprehensive program to heal, learn, and align with your mind, body, and autonomic nervous system. I will support you in creating a deep connection within yourself to allow you to regulate your nervous system, recover from trauma, and teach you movements you can practice at home between sessions to reach your goals.
Together, we work to provide a safe and integrative program that supports you in moving forward in your life with a sense of self-awareness and sustainable change to live the life you want.
Lasting relief comes from listening to and trusting the innate wisdom your nervous system.
What My Clients Say:
“Even during the online class yesterday I began to feel broader and looser in my shoulders, as if the tension in my muscles was loosening, and at the same time, I felt more stable. Today, I feel I’m moving and sitting with more ease.”
How Soon Will I Notice Results?
Many of my clients find relief after a single session, but you may benefit from a series of sessions depending on the level of discomfort you currently experience, and how long you’ve been experiencing that discomfort. If you’re recovering from an injury or surgery, want to increase your athletic performance, or you live with chronic stress, anxiety, or pain, consider a package of 10 sessions within a concentrated period of time, to get started.
